- Our ‘Managed Caldicott Guardian Service’ allows you to sleep a little easier knowing advice and guidance through complex data protection issues is only ever a phone call away.
Caldicott Guardians are responsible for protecting confidential information regarding people’s health and social care. They are also responsible for ensuring the data is shared appropriately, ethically and lawfully.
Organisations must appoint or have access to a Caldicott Guardian if you process any health or social care data. This will ensure not only GDPR compliance but will ensure that your organisation practices to the highest standards in data protection.
Taking on a managed service with us means we will be at your disposal for data protection queries and concerns. It also means we can provide multiple services under one budget, from policy writing to audit reviews, to a simple question about CCTV. It works on purchasing time by hours, how you spend the hours is up to you.
What could we offer on a Caldicott Guardian basis?

Our managed service is a popular choice for our clients and provides compliance knowledge and peace of mind across a variety of business and industry activities.
Standard Annual Service includes:
- A minimum of 1 hour per month dedicated time
- BLS Stay Compliant will support and address any Data Protection functions
- Answering any IG/DPA, UK GDPR and DPO, CG and SIRO queries within 3 working days
- Data breaches will be responded to within 24 hrs
- Queries are emailed through to dedicated support email address or by phone, Skype/Teams when or if required.
