Advanced Data Protection Officer Training (DPO)
About the Course and DPO Role
Our Advanced Data Protection Officer Masterclass is aimed at already trained Data Protection Officers who are looking to strengthen and deepen their skill and expertise within the role.
The role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) is varied and challenging. They are expected to provide clear, independent guidance and advice in line with current legislation, to ensure an organisation remains compliant.
We recognise that once trained in the basics, further development in the role can be difficult to achieve.
In light of this we have developed our new Advanced Data Protection Officer training which is designed to reinforce key elements of the DPO training course whilst extending delegates understanding through the use of real life case studies as part of a practical and interactive session.
Delegates will get the opportunity to explore and discuss real life situations pertinent to the role to support their approach to a range of challenges they will face.
Course content and material used during the training will be available for delegates to take away and retain as aide-memoires.
Learning Objectives:
- Build confidence in the application of the Data Protection Officer role.
- Examine complex scenarios faced by DPOs in their day to day work.
- Consider and debate some of the difficult DPO challenges and demands.
- Make new connections and network with DPO colleagues.
- Share experiences and expand personal knowledge.
- The opportunity to access our experienced and respected DPOs and Information Governance specialists.
