About the A.I. and Data Protection Course
AI is transforming how organisations handle data—but it also brings new compliance risks. This course is ideal for anyone responsible for or involved in handling personal data with AI such as Data Protection Officers, Information Governance Leads and Project Managers.
Covering a range of themes:
- Understand how UK GDPR and other Data Protection laws apply to AI.
- Embed privacy by design: Ensure AI projects protect personal data from the outset.
- Evaluate organisational readiness: Identify gaps and implement robust safeguards in relation to AI and data management
- Guide decision-making: Advise teams on safe, lawful AI adoption.
- Reduce risk: Identify and Prevent breaches, fines, and reputational damage.
Online Training
- Facilitated via Microsoft ‘Teams’ (2.5 hours duration).
- Our core presentation will be issued to delegates at least 4 working days in advance.
- We recommend that you study the course materials prior to the session, so you can highlight any areas that you may be specifically unsure of, or if you any specific issues/scenarios that you may want to discuss. Where possible these will be blended into the session.
After the session, time should be spent reflecting and consolidating training learnt into a development plan.
