CAF Aligned NHS DSPT Update Training

The Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) being integrated into the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) for 2025–26 submissions. Are you ready?

If your organisation accesses NHS patient information, staying up-to-date isn’t optional – it’s the law. This course is designed for IG (Information Governance) and cyber professionals involved in completing the 2025/26 CAF-aligned NHS DSPT toolkit.  Our expert-led training ensures you understand the latest requirements and complete your submission confidently.

  • Know your responsibilities, explore roles and accountabilities within your organisation during completion.
  • Build confidence in completing your toolkit
  • Determining if you require an external audit

Organisations who must complete the toolkit:

  • NHS trusts & foundation trusts
  • Commissioning support units (CSUs)
  • Arm’s-length bodies (ALBs) of DHSC
  • Integrated care boards (ICBs)
  • Independent health organisations under NIS regulations
  • Genomics organisations nominated by DHSC

Online Training

  • Facilitated via Microsoft ‘Teams’ (2.5 hours duration).
  • Our core presentation will be issued to delegates at least 4 working days in advance.
  • We recommend that you study the course materials prior to the session, so you can highlight any areas that you may be specifically unsure of, or if you any specific issues/scenarios that you may want to discuss. Where possible these will be blended into the session.

After the session, time should be spent reflecting and consolidating training learnt into a development plan.
